The location is excellent, and I was given a free upgrade by the manager. It was clean. However, the carpeting is old and worm, the shower is minuscule, and the breakfast items were of a very poor quality. It felt creepy to mr.

The Tunnicliff is very well located, walking distance to most of the major sights and popular town spots, and one of the major reasons for my selection of the inn. I like to stay in inns and B & Bs when I have a choice, because they add a more personal feel to our travels. Our trip, a couple of... More

Maybe it's a generational thing, me being only 37 years old, but I've never really understood the whole Bed and Breakfast thing. This Inn is a gleaming example of why. Most Bed and Breakfasts seems to take the liberty of passing off lazy and dirty as 'quaint' and 'vintage'. Attention to detail means everything, especially when you are SUPPOSED to... More

Batting 1000 no errors and era close to 0. Tom was amazing, the chefs and service were amazing. Having 3 kids highly allergic to various foods they took the time out to treat us better than family. Awesome rooms. Great location. Free delicious breakfast a major plus. Tom and staff thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We took a spur-of-the-moment trip to Cooperstown in March to see the Baseball Hall of Fame when it wouldn't be so crowded. We chose the Tunnicliff Inn based mostly on location (right in the middle of town). The hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean. Since it was out-of-season and they didn't have the breakfast buffet, we got... More

Enjoyed a comfortable weekend stay in this inn. Free upgrade to a king size bed! Quiet and cozy. We skipped the free breakfast and dined out. Worth the primo location. Everything walking distance.nice staff and helpful. Felt in between a hotel stay and a bed and breakfast. Would recommend to friends and family. Hope to get back when more in... More

The Tunnicliff Inn is another little gem tucked away on a side street in Cooperstown. We stayed there right at the end of the off season, so the rate was very reasonable. Different inns up there change their seasonal rates at different times so its worth checking around. Add to the bargain, a free upgrade from queen to king and... More

Stayed here one night with my teen while visiting the area recently. We arrived at the inn about 11:30 am and Tom said we can check in early which was unexpected but a huge plus. He was very nice, showed us around the inn and brought us to our room. We stayed in the twin room #16 (not the one... More

We just returned from another trip to Cooperstown. Stayed at the Tunnicliff Inn again and still no complaints. We love the feel of the old place ~ squeaky floors and all. Rooms are clean and well maintained. We arrived a little early and was able to check-in by 1:00. Breakfast was not as good as we remember from before. Location... More

This hotel is a great place if your doing downtown. Off site parking, and our room was a little worn and tiny.breakfast was pretty good, but food downstairs was sub par at best and service spotty. Would help to have curbside valet or bellman. Our room was old and air conditioning did not do the trick but hotel is a... More
