We were in Ithaca for an extended stay and chose to stay at the Turrett house for 6 days in Dryden, a short distance from Ithaca. It was a great experience. Nancy, the host and owner, was gracious and provided us with a warm welcome and delicious breakfasts. The place is very clean and well kept, and the rooms are... More

Our hosttess was delightful. A person you want to meet. The main room was massive, and bed very comfortable. The closed off alcove allowed our grown daughter to stay with us at the last minute. Our host accommodated our eating preferences for breakfast with new and old recipes... all delicious. The location was perfect for our visit to Cornell and... More

We had planned on staying in different B&B in town, but had to relocate due to cats on and under our bed. We ended up at The Turret House and it was such a nice surprise. Extremely clean in all areas, tasteful decoration, great homemade, healthy breakfast and the owner was very welcoming and friendly. Stay here if you're in... More

From the welcome on the delightful porch to the departure after a wonderful breakfast, The Turret House is a welcome break from bland corporate hospitality. Nancy is a consummate host with endless anecdotes to regale. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and well appointed. Really cannot find fault.

Like others before me I was just introduced to the 'where in the world do I stay when I visit my kid at Cornell' riddle. Fortunately I stumbled on a great answer in the nick of time. Indeed, Ithaca is not the worlds easiest place to find a good room, at a good value, during the time that you need... More

We planned a last minute trip to visit our child at Ithaca College and hotels (as is so often the case in Ithaca and the surrounds) were hard to find and/or expensive. I came across the Turret House on a website and while we don't prefer B&Bs, decided to take a chance. We're very glad we did. The house is... More

I stayed here in October 2011. This was an excellent bed and breakfast, a short drive from Ithaca, NY. It was a great value: less expensive and way nicer than similarly priced hotels in Ithaca. Hotels in Ithaca can often be very expensive, so this was a great find. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was excellent, and... More

Tried to get a room or B&B in Ithaca, and thank god found this place, Nancy (owner) was very acomadating due to last minute situation we had. Great Location for us, because he had to be between Ithaca and Tioga County. Highly recommend to one and all. Would be great for Skiers going to Greek Peak as well

We had a great one night stay at The Turret House. After trying to find a hotel in Ithaca - no rooms available! We got lucky and found this b&b. Checked in just before 10pm and walked to a restaurant right around the corner for a quick bite to eat. The Turret house was nice and clean and we had... More
