What's not to like about this place? It's ideally located right on the lakeshore, convenient to wineries, Watkins Glen and other area attractions. It's quiet. Great for spending some contemplative time in an idyllic setting. The grounds are well kept and private, and there's a fire pit, a screen house and a dock for use by guests. During our stay... more

Wow! This was the most relaxing and comfortable vacation we have had! Peter and Mary are fabelous hosts. They are charming and relaxed and pampered us to the max! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable with spectacular views of the lake and each room has a deck so we could watch the moring sun rise with our coffee. We were... more

This was by far the best B&B we have ever stayed at. We've stayed at quite a few of them. The hosts, Peter and Mary, were spectacular; they left no detail unattended to. Breakfasts were always LARGE and DELICIOUS. We stayed in the Southview room, the biggest (and though I'm biased) the BEST room in the B&B. It has a... more

This was our 2nd stay at "The Pearl" - we visit the area every other year to enjoy the fine wines and great shopping that the area provides. Making the phone call to reserve our spot was like calling an old friend - I was amazed by how many details Peter (Peter and Mary are a husband and wife team... more

What a wonderful B&B! I stayed here with friends who have been many times, and it was like staying with a relative. We had the run of the place, and came and went as if we lived there. Peter and Mary are wonderful hosts, very friendly but not intrusive. The house was built to be a B&B, so to my... more

We spent two days at the Pearl of Seneca Lake last week and we really enjoyed our stay. The property is beautifully located, right on the shores of Seneca Lake and we had a very comfortable, airy and spacious room with access to the porch. The property is close to many wineries, the village (and the Park) of Watkins Glen,... more

My husband and I have stayed at The Pearl twice (so far). The first time was when we were just dating. We loved it so much that we came back as part of our honeymoon! It really was the perfect place to stay and relax after a very hectic wedding weekend. On both occasions Mary and Peter went out of... more

I found the Pearl of Seneca on a Bed and Breakfast website and after reading wonderful reviews and looking at their website, I gave them a call. Reservations went smoothly via a simple phone call with co-owner Peter. I was sent a postcard with directions and further information about my reservation shortly thereafter. Peter and Mary built the home on... more

We've stayed at a lot of really great B&Bs, they are our preferred type of lodging, and the Pearl of Seneca Lake is by far the best. I could spend a week just relaxing at this B&B and never leave the property. Mary and Peter Muller built their home to be a B&B, and the attention to detail shows. All... more
