My husband and I are both very pleased with our recent trip to East Hampton. We stayed at the Hunting Inn and loved it. I'm usually not a big fan of Inns but found the Hunting Inn to be exceptional. Service is excellent and the rooms beautiful and well kept. I highly recommend it as a great place to stay... more

A few nights at The Huntting Inn is a great getaway from the NYC metro area during the off-season. We have only stayed there in the winter and early spring. If the weather cooperates, East Hampton is a joy. The Inn is walking distance to shops, restaurants, bookstores and movies. During the off -season there is a package that includes... more

We keep going back! My wife and I travel a lot. We love seeing new places, but for the past ten or more years, a few times every year, both winter and summer, we somehow find ourselves back at the Huntting Inn (note two T's in name). The minute you step inside, you feel the warmth and hospitality. More than... more

The Hunting Inn is a very tranquil retreat for a long weekend. The Inn is beautiful, with quaint décor and staff. A great location with moment walks under tree awnings to the beach, East Hampton Center, a short walk through gardens and a small pond with swans, and other recreational interests. The Palm restaurant at the hotel serves the best... more

My husband and I had scheduled a rare getaway weekend in East Hampton, and as we made our way east we were a little apprehensive. We had just come upon a less than favorable review of the our proposed accomodations posted on this site. And an enormous blizzard was barreling our way. We arrived in East Hampton just as the... more

Such a shame that the historic Hunting Inn seems to be on the decline. I stayed here in October 2004 and was really quite disappointed with the quality of the room decor, TV, and worst of all the bathroom. Peeling paint, mold on the walls, shower fixtures that leaked all over the place, this was the stuff of a $30... more
