My family and I stayed at the Courtyard in East Syracuse on our way back from a week-long stay in Virginia. We were looking for a hotel located within reasonable distance from the Outlet Shops in Waterloo, NY. The Hotel The hotel staff was very courteous on our arrival. The front desk person was actually a Manager. On our arrival,... more

Had a very nice stay here on the trip up to Ottawa. From the front desk, to the wait staff, everyone was very nice. I opened the sofa bed ready to sleep and there were no sheets. We called down to the desk for sheets and within 5 minutes a whole set was at the door. Very comfortable stay and... more

Getting off the I-90 is not bad at all, so its easy off the highway, but on the Circle, I would have to pass. Carrier Circle (hopefully Carrier is the correct spelling) seems to be like a dealth trap, so many fast moving cars and lots of turns. Miss your turn and 50 horns! Once you get to the Courtyard... more

Somewhat of a cookie cutter courtyard. The front desk staff were friendly. Lobby looks decent. I agree with the other review that mentioned the walls between rooms are very thin. I travelled for business and while the wired internet access was free, it was VERY slow. Slower than even the wireless access in most other hotels. There was no wireless... more

Nothing bad to say about this place. Rooms are immaculate, nice, and each one has a balcony. Lots of TV stations, fast internet (wired however), and common areas are great. Didn't use the pool, but it also looked very nice. The property is right off the Thruway, and there are a number of good restaurants within walking distance. I have... more

I read the reviews regarding this hotel before I stayed there and I would have to state that my fellow travelers left out a few things: 1. The beds wereHARD as a Rock; 2. The walls are as THIN as Paper!!!!!!!!!!! (I could hear the people walking above me, in the hallway, the ice maker, AND especially the guy in... more

Stayed there for 2 weeks on a business trip in December 06. After asking for a change, I was given a room overlooking the yard. Much, much better since the mainroads/highways are extremely noisy! Staff was willing to help and accomodating. The room itself was fairly large, bed was comfortable -a giant one! and the bathroom was merely OK. All... more

A fine, convenient hotel clustered in the 'hotel park' right across from Carrier, and just off the Thurway. Facilities are good - not spectacular, but of high quality for a hotel at this point in the quality scale. This hotel served me well as basically a place to sleep while shopping and visiting nearby attractions. The exercise room is decent,... more

We used Courtyards by Marriot for several overnight stays on a long journey this summer. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the staff in this particular location was very nice. Decent Breakfast buffet. more
