I treated my girlfriend to a surprise getaway to A Victorian on the Bay. The place looks even better in real life than online. The owner helped me plan a perfect romantic stay – champagne, breakfast in the room and dinner at a fabulous restaurant. My girlfriend and I both agree we have never stayed in a bed and breakfast... more

The house is lovely, very comfortable and airy, with beautiful views of the inlet. We were truly spoiled by the proprietor, Rosemary, who took wonderful care of us. From recommending day trips to making reservations, she was so attentive. Breakfast was consistently a delight. more

Incredible setting - totally relaxing and peaceful. Owner greeted us at the door, helped us with dinner reservations and then gave us a tasty and filling breakfast in the morning. We had a delightful time and can't wait to return. more

What does one expect at a costly seaside B&B? A warm welcome, some tea and fresh cookies laid out in the afternoon, an inviting common room, a good night's sleep, and a generous country breakfast with a few choices (the smell of sizzling bacon, maybe a sideboard with toast, granola, cereal or yogurt for those who just want something light)... more

My wife and I recently stayed at Victorian on the Bay, and were quite disappointed. The inn itself is comfortable, though it is worth noting that it was built recently and lacks the old-style charm suggested by its name. Our problems stemmed, however, from the owner/manager. First, the morning after our first night, we informed her that the floor of... more

Just stayed at Victorian on the Bay for one night with my girlfriend - what a pleasant stay from start to finish! Everything was highly personalized - from the innkeeper making a restaurant reservation for us in advance, to the personalized welcome card wishing us happy anniversary, waiting for us in our room. The room (we stayed in Bayview Room)... more

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Victorian on the Bay. It wasn't to far from the city but far enough. The owner was very attentative and gracious without interrupting our weekend. The house is beautiful, clean and airy. THE POOL WAS BIG, CLEAN, AND SURROUNDED BY BEATIFUL GARDEN AND DECK. Owner communicated via email and phone... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at this Bed and Breakfast over a weekend in December. The house is nice the rooms and the view were lovely, and the staff employed by the owner was very nice. However, the location is misleading according to the website and the owner - while she asserts that certain restuarants are, for example, a mile... more

Great location near the water and marina. Nice building with wraparound porch, pool and jacuzzi. Our complaint was that having arrived a bit early we needed to change to beach attire. We were told there was no public restroom, and that was it. No apology or offer to step in a vacant room to change. Ended up getting dressed in... more
