My husband and I have been searching for a clean, comfortable, quality hotel located near Cazenovia for some time now. Disappointed with all Cazenovia hotels, we stumbled upon the Craftsman Inn and were very pleased. The receptionist was tied up with a guest error. I had the fortunate opportunity to observe her skillfully and professionally provide a solution to the... more

I stayed for the weekend here for a family wedding and it was such a cute, cozy place! The staff were very friendly and helpful and always greeted my baby in such a warm way. Our standard room with a king sized bed was clean and very comfy. The location is conveniently located across a shopping mall with a Target... more

My sister and I stayed here while visiting family in Fayetteville. The front desk attendant seemed very inconvenienced even though we had a reservation. The first room we were given a key to contained a sleeping family. We scared the heck out of them barging in the room at 10PM. We had to go back to the front desk which... more

My family and I started staying at the Craftsman Inn in Fayetteville, NY, shortly after it opened several years ago. We were previously always pleased with the comfort, quality and friendly service. I returned there for a visit over the July 4th weekend. The carpets in the hallways are filthy and stained. The beautiful Stickley furniture is showing signs of... more

My wife and I travel to Fayetteville each year for the annual OzStravganza in Chittenango, birthplace of L. Frank Baum, author of the Wizard of Oz. . The Inn staff is on duty 24/7 to handle any of our needs quicky and with a smile. The rooms are neat , clean and quiet. After a long day of events and... more

We stayed at the Craftsman Inn while visiting relatives in nearby Manlius. Most of the less expensive chain motels (eg Fairfield Inn etc) in Syracuse are either at the Carrier Circle or near the airport. We chose Craftsman to be closer to the folks we were visiting. It's also a nice location in that there are restaurants nearby, and a... more

We were travelling with our small dog and the Craftsman does have pet rooms - well no, only suites if you have a pet. (Be prepared to sign a 3 page document). Our suite was big and very clean but lacking in coziness and personality even with the Stickley furniture. Maybe it was the Miami Vice wall and trim colors... more

The Craftsman Inn and its Limestone restaurant are near Syracuse and are very pleasant places with much more character than a "faux-glitzy" motel. The greeting staffperson was extremely pleasant (and the cookies on the counter were homebaked and fresh). The restaurant/bar was quite congenial, with a varied menu -- and a selection of good Scotches. more

I would rate this motel as above average . The rooms were very comfortable even though they were a bit pricey . There was a wedding the second night of our stay and it did get loud in the parking lot . I thought the hotel management should have taken steps to quiet things down , unfortunatley the noise continued... more

I was much happier with my stay this time around than when I was there in 2002. I was in town for a memorial in March and found my room to be clean, cozy and comfortable. Needless to say, I'll be back. Next week as a matter of fact! more
