My sister and I took a two night mini-vacation at the Vinafera. What a lovely place! Our large room overlooked Seneca Lake. It had a fireplace and jacuzzi tub and was very quiet...we knew there were other guests staying at the Inn, but heard no one. We had breakfast in the Belhurst Castle ( attached to the Inn) on a... I took my wife here for a romantic weekend away just after US Thanksgiving. Belhurst/Vinifera came very highly recommended by a friend from work. We stayed two nights and were really disappointed, especially considering the room rate. Most disappointing though is that no one seemed to care about the quality of our stay. Here's the breakdown: The Good: The castle... More

My daughters wedding was at the Belhurst and some guests stayed in the Vinifera Inn. Guests were Very pleased with the accommodations. The rooms were large, had a fireplace, and what a great view of the lake. Guests commented on the free wine tasting and the great breakfast buffet. Glad our guests enjoyed their stay. Thank you Vinifera Inn! More

Absolutely loved our one night stay! We can't wait to return--we will definitely stay longer next time. Just happened upon the Inn by accident. We had reservations to stay at the Hampton Inn in Geneva so we could visit some wineries in the Finger Lakes area, but when we arrived at the Hampton, it did not look like a very... More

We spent one night at the Belhurst on our 1st anniversary. If the Belhurst made a couple of simple changes/upgrades everything would be fantastic about this hotel. We had the lower room in the Turret of the winery; Upon entering the room appears to be acceptable, however the window air-conditioner and the bubble tv's definitely make the room seem dated... More

My fiancee and I were interested in taking advantage of the Winter Fires package that the Belhurst if offering through December 31st because we thought it sounded romantic and affordable. We were also planning on getting married around this same time and thought of combining the two for a nice day/evening. We called the Belhurst and they were very helpful... More

Have stayed at all three locations under the Belhurst name and Vinifera is the nicest. The castle is old, old, old and the rooms are not being well kept which is disappointing. It could be lovely with some work. There is a new addition, a spa, which I am sure will be very nice. However I would suggest the money... More

Stayed here for 2 nites while experiencing the Seneca Wine Trail. Location on the lake is beautiful with all rooms facing the Lake. The sunrise on the lake was just gorgeous. Room was large with 2 vanities, great shower, very comfortable bed and a great heat/ac unit that did not make noise through the night. Had the buffet breakfast both... More

If you are visiting the Lake Seneca wine trail, this is a great place to stay! My husband and I had visited the Belhurst in the past to have dinner and Sunday brunch, but we had never stayed there overnight. Based on some previous Tripadvisor reviews of the Castle Chambers, I was quite sceptical....but the Vinifera Inn is much newer... More

Back from wonderful trip to Finger Lakes region of NY state. "It was the best of times / it was the worst of times". We had a wonderful stay in Skaneateles at Mirbeau. But we also had a very disappointing stay at Belhurst. Checked in no problems. Room a bit dated and worn, but could have lived with it if... More
