Everything about our stay was superb. The people, guides, staff, managers, and the lodging and the food. If you truly want to see elephants in every size, grouping, and activity, this is the destination. It was a very special experience. Our trip was planned by the Africa Adventure Company, and their planning and recommendations of lodges was spot on. On... More

This review is long overdue but we felt we had to express our gratitude for all davison's camp provided. Our guide was Dixon, who was incredible throughout our stay. We consider everyone at the camp our friends. Because of the number of other guests at our camp, my wife and I were fortunate enough to have all game drives by... More

The minute you arrive at Camp Davison's you know you are in for a treat of a lifetime! Behind the main tent/dinning area/lounge you have this amazing oasis that opens up with hundreds of elephant feeding in the watering holes; it is simply unbelievable! The tents are well ventilated and no matter which one you are staying in, the elephants... More

Everything about Davison's Camp was perfect, from the first welcome, accommodations, meals, game rides and to our farewell The staff is so friendly and want to make sure that you have everything that you need. The food was incredible and the game drives did not disappoint, especially the mom and cub lion reunion we saw - amazing is all I... More

You HAVE to go there!! We were a group of 10 and we stayed at Davidson's Camp during our trip last september (2012), and it was the best place, SERVICE, clean, FOOD, staff, everything! I usually don't write on Trip Advisor, but this needs to be tell! That place is just amazing, you can tell by the pictures, but make... More

The staff wants to guarantee you a true safari adventure. The permanent tents are comfortable, food was good, the staff is very attentive and the location is perfect - a watering hole right in front of lodge with elephants, zebras, baboons, buffalo and other animals and birds enjoying a drink (while we were enjoying a drink watching them!)

First it must be said that there is absolutely no reason to avoid Zimbabwe as a holiday destination. From our experience Victoria Falls (a neat place in comparison to scruffy Livingstone on the Zambian side) and Hwange National Park are just as safe to travel as places in Botswana or South Africa are. We flew into Hwange by chartered light... More

Recently while on safari in Hwange National Place, we had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful lodge deep in the heart of the Zimbabwe bush with our OUTSTANDING guide, David Carson. We experienced a wonderful three days in the spaciously designed lodge and rooms. Each had running water and solar energy. This resort was truly magnificent and perfectly located for... More

WOW! This camp is has the best overall staff I have ever encountered in my travels. The camp itself is wonderful with a very active water hole. The tents are excellent with all the ammenities without being pretentious. They were comfortable and homey and had an excellent view of the water hole. The staff was what really made the place... Davison's Camp was the highlight of our month-long Africa adventure. It was like going to summer camp as a kid only the tents were much better appointed. It wasn't the most oppulant of our camps, but it was by far the best experience. The service and the food were unbelievable. They provide you with whatever you need before you even... More
