Small, but nicely done room, with all the amenities we needed. Everything was clean and in good shape. Decor is interesting and tasteful, with upbeat funky sense of humor. If you don't go expecting a five-star hotel, you should enjoy it. We had a very good summer weekend night in July. Near swimming holes, Hudson and with its own pool, we found it clean and simple.

Just got back from an impromptu stay at the Silvanus Lodge. Was blown away by the super stylish decor, have never seen boutique styling like this in a 50's country motel, except at the Roxbury Motel near Plattekill Mountain. Loved it!
