While staying in Nkhata bay we decided to go on a night dive at Aqua Africa. We were met by Matt at the bar who made us feel very welcome and was really great to talk to. As we were only diving we only really saw the bar area which was very pretty overlooking the lake with a great comfortable... More

I came to Nkhata Bay to get my scuba certification and enjoy beautiful Lake Malawi. I was greeted by Matt who immediately made me feel at home. I met Chris, sometime later and we set up my dive course. In the 7 days at Aqua Africa, I felt like a welcomed friend. Whether I was relaxing at the bar or... More

I have always loved the bedrooms for their fabulous views over Lake Malawi...Now they have been redecorated, have super new shower rooms and best of all air conditioning! The Dive Deck now has a real luxury feel...huge cane sofas for... More

My wife and I stayed here during our round the world in order to squeeze in a bit of diving in Lake Malawi and relax in Nkhata Bay. They only have 4 rooms, each with a balcony and view over the bay and are comfortable if not exceptional. The location is excellent as it's right on the edge of town,... More

We stayed at Aqua Africa at the beginning of February to do our advanced Padi course. We were there for four days and enjoyed every minute. Especially the diving. Firstly the diving. Kate our instructor was fabulous, teaching clearly and giving us all the info we needed to go out and enjoy our dives. The "Topmen" Amigo and Diston were... More

Aqua Africa is a diving school with accommodation. IT IS A DIVING SPOT not a place for honeymooners. It is on the top of the cape and view is quite nice. There is their own restaurant/bar just across the road where you can get very good hamburgers and ok breakfast. The local cat is a amazing. I find their restaurant... More
