We really enjoyed our stay at Mowani. The location and scenery was stunning - I could have sat on our deck all day just staring at the views. Staff service and food was outstanding from the poor chap that had to carry our oversized luggage to our waiter Epson. I especially liked the singing and dancing by the staff after... more

We stayed just 1 night in this particular hotel. We thought we were in a "Star wars" movie because of the round huts. We had the best room : the suite with a wonderful view on the desert and mountains. Fabulous ! The room was very comfortable with a terrace and a outside shower (+ a normal shower in the... more

We had a great time at Mowani. We arrived to a bit of a problem (there was a mix up with our reservation) but luckily they had one room available and they could fit us in. Everything was first rate from there. We relaxed by the pool, had some drinks, took in the lovely scenery (especially from our tent which... more

We booked Mowani as part of our North Namibia Tour, staying 3 nights. Were not sure what to expect as had read some +ve and some -ve reviews. Accommodation and food and service were all excellent. Knowing it was our last night the staff put us up a special table for 2 and served us down by the camp fire,... more

Beautifully furnished rooms blend effortlessly into the surroundings. Rooms have outstanding views. Attentive service and good food. Good game drives, but trips to burnt mountain probably not worth it. Swimming pool is very small - and very cold when we were there! more

We stayed at Mowani for 2 nights as the second stop of our holiday and had booked tent 9, the honeymoon tent. Although not strictly a view tent, I think most of the tents have great vistas over the boulder landscape that surrounds Mowani and #9 definitely did. We had an outside bathroom which was great and definitely different, but... more

We stayed at Mowani for three night in a standard tent (the others were occupied) and it was beautiful. We were afraid that a standard tent would be without a view but this is not the case and luckily still breathtaking. The staff is very comitted and will go out of their way to make your stay an unforgettable one.... more

We stayed for 2 nights in March. We were upgraded to the luxury room. Superb location, pity about the bed. Well past it's sell by date. On our 2nd day I had a fall & badly grazed my arm. After washing the wounds I used my hand towel to dry them before applying dressings. On departure I was charged N$40.00... more

Mowani Mountain Camp is one of the best two places we have stayed in Namibia. The setting is off-the-hook spectacular: red-granite boulders, pale-yellow desert, craggy mountains. It is just beautiful. The staff and management are excellent. We did not go looking for the desert-adapted elephants (saw them earlier), but went on an excellent nature walk with their guide. The sunset... more

Mowani is set in a superb location and the huts/tents are beautifully decorated, outdoors bathroom being THE point. The food is absolutely delicious and offered activities very good. Our guide, Fredrik, was one of the best guides we had ever had for nature drives, extremely knowledgeable on animals, plants, geology etc. Excellent. On the other hand, we felt that if... more
