We stayed at this campsite for a couple of nights while on an expedition with World Challenge Expeditions. It's an ideal base for some really nice treks, or just a good place to pit-stop while travelling a great distance.
The campsite is divided into different areas so if there are several groups there it should be possible to find a secluded area for just your group should you wish too.
There is plenty of wildlife around the campsite. As soon as we arrived there were birds coming down wanting to interact with us and be fed - which we were more than happy to do. There was also a family of baboons in the area although be warned they can be quite persistent - they broke into our truck, stole some of our supplies and went running up a mountain with them resulting in a few of us having to give chase. One night I also saw a leopard walk past our tent which was kinda cool.
