We spent two nights at this lovely hotel on the outskirts of Queretaro. It is built around the ruins of an old hacienda. The architects have cleverly used the old walls and other parts of old buildings to give the place a lot of character and ambience. The rooms were clean and luxurious. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. It's a great place to just stay and relax or use as a starting point for travel around the area. I'm a vegetarian and Mexico is a difficult place to be vegetarian in, but the restaurant was very willing to adapt traditional Mexican dishes for me.... more
