The hostel was empty, even though it was in a charming town, just an hour or so away from San Miguel de Allende, another lovely town. It is new and therefore not in any of the guides yet. Over Independence Day weekend, I had a 10 bunk room with bathroom all to myself. It's smallish, but has internet (which wasn't working that great when I was there), includes a huge continental breakfast, is very clean, and is in a great central location. I had a small issue with hot water, but since I was just there overnight I didn't worry about asking about it. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, so I feel confident that they would have quickly addressed this had I brought it up.
