I generally am wary of B&Bs, as there is often a certain comfort level missing and sometimes a lack of privacy, but this inn changed my mind. It has many of the comforts of a regular hotel, but so much more charm! We stayed in Isabel's Parlor and loved the handsome bedroom and living room. The bathroom was large and... More

This is such a great place. We stayed there for 8 days in April-May 2013. We had a suite which was well appointed, spacious and sunny, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom very well done. We even had our own private porch and private parking spot. The innkeeper/manager/cook, Wendy, was extremely cordial, gracious and capable, as was her assistant... More

I was travelling to Hudson, NY for business and wound up at Mount Merino Manor on the suggestion of the proprietor of (the booked) Croff House. It is impeccably clean, nicely decorated and in a beautiful setting. The breakfast is delicious and the staff couldn't be nicer. I highly recommend this property.

My husband and I stayed for three nights and had a peaceful time. We love inns and this one had a lot going for it. We had a large room with an incredibly large bathroom and the most beautiful view of the mountains. The room waas clean and had wonderful amenities. It is starting to show its age and could... More

Beautiful low key B&B - Ideal great place for couples who want some alone time. I recommend the Blue Mountain View room on the top floor. The shower, bed sheets and towels were absolutely amazing. Wendy was a gracious host and the food was delicious.

we spent 2 nights here in the blue mountain view room for my fiances bday. the b&b was very classic in style with vintage touches in the decor and just very nice/luxurious overall -as compared to the quirkier, more homely b&b's in the area. i appreciated the little touches like the small potted flowers, chocolates on the bed, bath salts,... My wife and I booked a two night stay at this inn. We stayed in the Master Sabine Suite which is one the rooms with a very large bathroom and whirlpool bath. The bed was very comfortable and room nicely decorated. For a very old mansion the room as well as the entire house was quite. The staff was very... More

I'll start with the one small drawback first, b/c I think it's very minor, and it certainly wouldn't cause me to hesitate in recommending the Mount Merino Manor ("MMM"): the grounds of MMM, while secluded, unfortunately border on one side (though it's set back a good 75-100 yards) a pretty well-traveled road (at least, for upstate NY). I would note... More

We went there with my boyfriend for new years eve, stayed 3 days and it was amazing. The staff were very friendly and kind. The rooms were clean and beautiful. We're planning to go there again in spring.

This is by far the best B&B that I have been to. We arrived early on a Monday to find out we were the only guests in the house for the two nights we were staying. Because of that we were upgraded to the Blue Mountain View room. This room is spectacular. It is extremely spacious and well decorated with... More
