We stayed here in from Thursday-Saturday, and I wish we had stuck to our first choice, which would have been to stay in Kingston. Kaatskill was cheaper by about $50 in total, which is why we ended up here. My first complaint is the fact that it is not a hotel & spa – it’s an inn. The rooms are... More

Wanted to eke out one last weekend on the slopes of some great Spring skiing, and thought Id give Hunter a try. Now I know why the extra 1.5 hour commute to Vermont is worthwhile. This is the only "slopeside" lodging option here, and it is definitely not ski in-ski-out. you are schlepping everything via shuttle. The walls are so... More

We stayed in kaatskill Mt Club for Spring Break in the end of March. This Hotel is sutuated on the side slope of Hunter Mt the ski/in ski/out advertisement is a bit of a stretch but it is within walking distance of slopes. We were told check-in was at 4 pm but we could have possible early checkin if room... More

That was one of the worst nights I had in a hotel in a while. The price was dear for a non ski on ski off hotel ( even though they claim they are). $135 with tax, mid week no lift ticket included. I negotiated down from 175. Plus tax. The room was clean but not nice. The bed was... More

We are a family of 4 skiers and recently moved to the east coast from California. This was our first east coast ski trip. We arrived on a Sunday and stayed through Wednesday. We got two adjoining rooms - one was a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen and the adjoining room was similar to a hotel room. In... More

I stayed in Kaatskill at least 5 times - and liked it all those times. I see those terrible reviews and can not figure out - what do people need? Good restaurant - with reasonable prices, chef's are very creative with their menu, waiters are very friendly. Spa is OK - steam room sometimes does not want to turn on,... More

I called The Mountain Club to make reservations as a friend of mine is getting married there this summer. When calling reservations I spoke with someone named Isabella who was rude and uncooperative. I was asking questions about the different types of rooms they have as we're traveling with a big party. I was told "to shut my mouth and... More

I stayed in Kaatskill Club the first week in January of 2013. Like all skiing-place hotel, the lobby was always wet and little dirty. Not too serious. The room was old fashioned but clean and big enough and includes a good kitchen and Jacuzzi. They have a Bar but I don´t drink too often and I have no comments about. If... More

I am trying to be as un-biased as possible on this review, we stayed here for almost nothing because our Cousin owns a timeshare here. We stayed in 1 bedroom accomodations. There was a pullout couch and a Murphy bed and a separate bedroom. You could SUPER comfortably sleep 6. You could easily fit up to 10 people in here... More
