We wanted to visit Ithaca on a busy university weekend when all the hotels downtown were booked. We found the Embassy online and called to book: the owner (Nick) was very pleasant to deal with on the phone and we reserved rooms for ourselves and our friends. Even though we arrived very late at night, we were pleasantly welcomed... The rooms have been renovated recently and while very simple, they are clean and more than adequate for a few nights stay. There is coffee, fruit, cereal, danishes etc for breakfast in the morning in the office area... Generally, we were quite satisfied with the experience overall. The motel is a scant few miles away from the campus and is easy to find. more
