Myself and 2 friends stayed at the JFK Inn and we have a lovely experience. The hotel is minutes away from JFK Airport and we were given a free shuttle when we landed and when we left. We stayed between 2 rooms and both were clean and comfortable; we had cable TV and HBO for free. Everyday we were given... more

Never, ever, ever have I seen such a vile, filthy, smelly, hellhole of a hotel. Stranded late night at JFK, this was pretty much the only place we could get into it. We just needed someplace to sleep for about 4 hours, and figured, how bad could it be?? BAD. Very bad. Let's see, what tipped me off? The bulletproof... more

I visited New York on business on July 7, 2009. I checked into JFK Inn on the 8th. I always travel with my own sheets and pillows so I placed them on the bed. I started getting bitten in the middle of the night. I never even heard of bed bugs before in my life. I took the sheets home,... more

Unfortunately we had to stay in this hotel, because we were stranded at JFK and it was the only hotel with rooms available. They charged us 85 USD for a day. The hotel shuttle couldnt pick us up from our Terminal so we took a cab, what costed us another 15 USD. The hotel itself looks shabby from the outside... more

Flying back from our honeymoon in Greece, we had a connecting flight at the JFK airport to Logan in Boston. After a 10 hour flight we rush over to the Delta terminal only to find out they cancelled our flight. With no other option, we decided to get a hotel room for the night. Two were recommended to us that... more

I found the JFK inn written on a hotels list at the airport (should have done some research on the net but oh well). They had a courtesy coach available so since I didn't know where I was (overseas traveler) I ordered the coach. After all, all the rooms I had called about were very expensive (over $200 US$ /... more

I think this hotel gets most of its business from travelers stranded at JFK. That's what happened to me. After a 12 hour transatlantic flight, I missed my connection and was rerouted 24 hours later. Exhausted, I booked a room through the Delta hotel service and was told that this was the only hotel that still had rooms available (bad... more

I stay at the JFK Inn in 2005 on several occasions. The rates were great for the times I stayed there but everytime I needed an iron I had to go to the front desk for it. They staff were middle eastern gentlemen who constantly spoke in their language and rarely gave you time of day. After all what you... more

I've read several of the other reviews and must say that, while the JFK Inn is certainly not luxurious, my experience was nowhere near as bad as many of those. It's true that the location is just so-so at best, but in all fairness it's right next to a couple other "name brand" motels and in the same general part... more
