The hotel charged an extra $10 to the one day stay in the credit/debit card which was not included on the bill provided upon departure. When I called, they claim that the signature document when you arrive indicates such charge. No copy of such charge was provided to me. The staff were great, however the "breakfast" left much to be desired. Breakfast room to small and overcrowded at busy time in the morning - no seats. Food very basic. Pick up from JFK was free of charge and runs hourly. Room was small but well appointed with extremely comfortable king sized bed and down filled duvet. Breakfast (included in nightly rate) included cereal, omelettes, sausage burgers, waffles with maple syrup, toast, doughnuts, pastries, fruit et etc. Shuttle back to the airport was also free for onward travel into NYC.... more

Just a few things about this hotel. The elevator is super, super, super slow. The phone in our room doesn't work. The hallway reeks of cigarettes, despite it being a non-smoking floor. I never write reviews on hotels, but I decided this needed to be written for the good of the public. Hotwire surely tricked us on this one!
