HORRIBLE hotel. We arrived after a late flight and were met by the surly, noncommunicative front desk clerk. Check in was fast, and the front lobby was clean if dated, but the room was beyond shabby. Granted, the beds were nicely made, but the tiles in the bathroom were dirty and there were several stray hairs. These rooms were last... more

I mistakenly booked the Holiday Inn at JFK rather than the Holiday Inn Express at JFK and regret that mistake. As other reviewers stated, this hotel is very old and tired. Pros: *Location: Only 15 minutes from Airport and they provide a free shuttle *Sound proofing: Did not hear any noise despite proximity to airport *Allowed late check out Cons... more

Excellent location, room small but a comfortable bed. Hadn't any tea/coffee making facilities, bathroom had a shower only, which was excellent for us but wouldnt recommend it for anyone with small children. The male members of the reception were very pleasant and helpful, the concierge was ignorant, totally ingnoring my husband when he went to ask a question and leaving... more

Small room was exceptionally clean. The breakfast buffet had many choices for adults and children. Very safe environment if you are travelling and need to be near JKF. Although we were a family travelling together, I would also recommend this hotel for solo travellers. Outside and inside environments were well lit with ceiling security cameras in every area. All staff... more

To call this place a dump would give it to high a review. The staff was rude and totally unpleasant. The rooms were DISGUSTING. I literally refused to undress and used all of the towels in the room to lay down a path on the floor so I never came in direct contact with the floor. It appeared to not... more

Much to my surprise, this hotel did the job. I had a nice sleep before an early A.M. flight to the west coast. Its not a fancy hotel, not lux by any stretch. Has a fully stocked convenience store, free morning coffee and a shuttle to the airport with a friendly driver. Also great free wireless internet. I love this... more

Getting to the hotel was relatively convenient: I hopped the AirTrain out of JFK, got off at Federal Station, and boarded Holiday Inn's shuttle that took me directly to the hotel. Driving up to the hotel, it didn't look half-bad with a nice water fountain out front. But the unmanned guard station should have been a clue. Once inside, the... more

The hotel is a very good value for money. It is quite resonable and not at all expensive. You can expect all the basic necessities from this hotel. more

We stopped over for a night at this Hotel. Our first impressions were not very positive. The area around the hotel is kind of scruffy but the hotel itself was OK. The front desk staff was really slow and particularly unwelcoming - except for the gentleman on the night shift. It is almost like they are doing you a favor... more
