We had booked for 3 nights and were happy to leave. Locationwise this place must be heaven on earth. Beautifull gardens, amazing views etc BUT 1. Pool was not clean 2. During the whole stay we could hear the pump of the watersupply which is put in front of this place in the lake 3. A cigarettebutt has layed for... More

Only stayed 1 day but a lovely spot - great views over Lake Kariba - nice accommodation in the thatch and canvas chalets with ensuite - nice pool and bar. Also enjoyed the zebra and impala wandering about the grounds. Great value as well Also a relief to get there after the journey along the dirt road!

Spent three days here and was sorry to have booked somewhere else for the remainder of the holiday. This place is off the beaten track but has good internet and phone coverage, great accommodation from camping in the glades to party dorms or a 12 room house-boat, to private chalets with views of the lake, and there is a beautiful... I have stayed at Kariba Bush Club three times now and each one of these stays was unique, beautiful and just unforgettable. If you want to relax in the sun next to the refreshing swimming pool, enjoy nature on one of the islands, go fishing on the fascinating Lake Kariba, or if you just want to meet interesting people from... We spent 3 nights in the Marula House over New Year. The house is big but not very modern (excepted the bedrooms that are very nice). Kitchen and Bathroom could benefit from some renovations as they are very basic (however the price is very reasonable so we were not expecting a 5* accommodation!). It is just a pity that inside... Two of my single friends and I decided to spend our New Years Eve at Kariba Bush Club! Glad we did... the all inclusive night (only $100) included a boat ride to their private island, unlimited fully stocked bar, dinner, volley ball, swimming, fireworks, bonfire, and lots of fun! They are just starting this tradition so I am sure next... More

My friend and I stayed in one of the chalet's which was great. Really nice, clean room with a view right over the lake and 30 seconds from the pool and volleyball court. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, the rooms were kept clean and the food was good (in fact too good, we could never decide what... More

We had an awesome long weekend stay up at Kariba Bush Club! We stayed in the family room - three super comfy proper beds with mozzie nets... proper duvets, fluffy towels and amazing showers (after roughing it in Africa for a bit - this was definitely a big plus!!). We went fishing and caught Bream which we cooked and ate... More

I went to Kariba Bush Club with a couple friends for the weekend, and it was amazing! We checked in to our cozy family room after a long day of traveling across Zambia. We did the croc farm tour - have you ever seend thousands of crocodiles all in one place? We were on a budget so we mostly self-catered;... More

I had a fantastic long weekend break at Kariba Bush Club staying in their family room with two other friends. It is such a beautiful place to visit hidden away in such a remote setting. Being situated just on the edge of the river made us feel we had our own little slice of paradise. The staff were so helpful... More
