We usually spend a full week in the area twice a year. In the past we stayed at the Super 8. No more though! From now on it's the Microtel. For just a few dollars more, we had a cleaner room, use of an elevator, good breakfast, free long-distance phone calls, better bedding and towels that actually weren't thread-bare, free... more

On our way for a week stay in Maine, we decided to stop here for the night. New sheets and pillows are OUT OF THIS WORLD! Wish we could find out where to buy them!!!! Breakfast had everything we could have wanted and staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. more

Staff very knowledgeable and accommodating. This place is really clean and new. Beds are comforatable, walls are a little thin but still recommended. They had fresh baked cookies upon our arrival, a business center with newspapers and computer with free internet access. Fitness center had a nice selection of equipment that worked great. We chose this hotel for a stopover based on TA reviews. Being newly opened, furnishings and appointments were up-to-date. The large flat-screen tv was a pleasure to watch. We didn't partake of the breakfast excpet to grab a cup of coffee and a yogurt and banana for the road, but it seemed adequate. more
