Last week was our first trip ever to Lake George, and we stayed at the Austin Inn on Hill Dr., right off 9N. The owners are very friendly...make you feel like your at home...second year staying there...will stay there every year for Americade.....perfect setting......pefect walking distance without staying right in the hustle and bustle of the village. I have stayed at The Austin Inn for the last 8 years and had a few very minor problems that were handled quickly and to our complete satisfaction, which is normal for a motel with a large turnover during the summer months. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY - ITS A NIGHTMARE!! MANAGEMENT EXTREMELY RUDE. Our reservations for The Austin Inn were for July 28th - August 1st. We wound up staying for two nights.
