Stayed at the Tiki HoJo one night. Check-in was fast. They let us go in before regular check-in time of 4PM. We were given room 402 on the second floor. After reading many reviews I decided to stay at the HoJo Tiki. The room itself was very small, but clean. We had the standard 2 dble beds room. The bathroom was super small. Tiki resort- Howard Johnson is basically a regular motel despite the "resort" in its name. There was nothing exceptional about the place you get what you pay for-which is a semi decent room that could use lots of touch up in furnishing. the place is a dump. it has that heavy dank smell that cheap hotels have. the paper thin towels were meant to discourage theft. the unheated outdoor pool was unreasonably cold. Not worth the price. I will say the restaurant was good for breakfast. more
