After hearing good things from friends, we were disappointed in our stay. We were looking forward to just being able to park our car and not have to drive anywhere, as the Lodge is right on XC ski trails and they advertise that they served dinner. My wife and I stayed here for the first three nights of our honeymoon and we loved every minute of it! The property is located in a beautiful meadow a few miles outside of the hustle and bustle of Lake Placid. We stayed at the South Meadow Farm Lodge for the first time in January 2004, for a getaway weekend. We were delighted with every aspect of our stay.
