Had a nice stay at Woodlake Inn, the rooms were very clean and large enough for a family of 4. We stayed for the weekend and everything was great. We drove into Lake Placid at 11pm looking for a room. We were happy to find the Woodlake Inn, which was a short walk to coffee shops, stores and restaurants. The room was very clean and plenty warm. We enjoyed our stay and will consider the Woodlake Inn when we return to Lake Placid. more

This is a basic, no frills motel. But it was very clean and fine for our one night stay. The beds were very comfortable. There are a couple of electric oddities. Wall switches control the lighting and the clock radio and coffee maker are on the same outlets. So if you set the clock radio and turn off the bedside... more

There is NO HEAT in this Inn. We stayed New Years week for skiing and had to keep our coats on inside to stay warm. All the room had was a baseboard heater that did not heat up the room. There was a big draft by the door and the management did not help us. Location is not directly in... more
