I had not planned a stay in this hotel for my trip. It was only after a snow storm forced me off the road that I found this hotel and was glad it had a vacancy. It was a pleasant stay, even with 3 rambunctious kids. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The wireless internet worked very... more

I have stayed here many times over the years, but stopped a couple of years ago as the place had gotten run down and a bit smelly. I tried it again because I learned it had been renovated, and was pleasantly surprised. The room was nicely appointed, and the bathroom in particular was nicer than in comparably priced hotels in... more

When booking this trip, we chose the Executive Suite. It claims to be a "one bedroom" and to come with a "living" area. Please don't be fooled by this as we were. It is a hotel room with a little tiny half wall separating the bed from the sofabed. The BRAND new hotel across the street calls the same thing... more

We come often to Syracuse to shop from Canada. Usually we stay in the city, but always come to check out the Target as well as eat at the various restaurants nearby in Clay. This time the Ramada by the Carousel centre was full so we decided to try staying near the Target. We first tried the Hampton Inn however,... more

I stayed with my family at the Fairfield Inn Syracuse Clay from Nov 3-5, 2007. We stayed in a non-smoking room with two queen beds. The hotel was built in 1989, and was refurbished in 2007. I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean, and the beds were new as part of the 2007 update. My wife... more

Room first assigned smelled like mold and after notifying the front desk a new room was assigned that smelled not much better. I noted bath tub caulking had mold in several areas in both rooms. My sheets and towels had a strong smell of chemicals. Maidservices did there job in vaccuming but the old vaccums they were using was not... more

I have stayed here many times when visiting the Syracuse area. This hotel is a bargain with free breakfast, free wireless internet service, indoor pool and is well maintained with recently updated bedding. The more expensive hotels in the area do not compare, and eventhough this is a "budget" level Marriott, its rooms and services far exceed expectations. Although there... more

My parents visit here every few months, since I relocated to the area and my house is right down the street. My mother is very picky about the comfort of beds in hotels, but she says theirs are great. The rooms are very quiet, clean, and not outdated. There is a very nice indoor pool with jacuzzi that is seldom... more

We stayed here for two nights, both en route to and on returning from Toronto. The desk clerk informed us that quite a few of their guests do that. We received a terrific government rate of $76.00/night with presentation of appropriate ID. The hotel is on a newly-developed street spanning the highway. There are shopping centers (Great Northern Mall), restaurants,... more

The fairfield inn, Syracuse Clay, was the nicest hotel I've stayed at. It was beautifully upkept, the room we checked into was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. The pool, and sauna were crystal clear, and vacant when we used them. The staff were very pleasant, and accomodating. It's also located in a really good place. It's behind a restaurant,... more
