Checking in wasn't a problem. (Although, just so you know, they will not hold your bags if you arrive early.) Location is alright; you'll never wait long for the subway, which takes you to Times Sq in 10-15 minutes. Neighborhood doesn't look like much, but is actually pretty good. No problems there, and we never felt unsafe. Customer service was decent on the whole; although some hotel employees weren't too helpful, most of 'em were really nice and attentative. more
