We started our trip to Mauritius and Reunion with a 4 nights stay at Tyvabro. We felt at home immediately. Mr Hassen is very helpfull. The house offers many extra's : free coffee, free internet (at mr Hassens desk) drinkingwater, safe, dvd-player and dartboard in the room etc. Also mr. Hassen is an excellent guide. He can show you the... more

Tyvabro is a very nice place where you´ll feel as if you were at home, we stayed there two nights in our honeymoon and we really enjoyed it. Hassen is fantastic, the best guide I´ve had in any trip I´ve done. He knows everything about Mauritius and he is very kind, he helped us a lot telling us where to... more

To see a bit of this part of the island and to be close to the airport we booked our last night in Tyvabro. This really is a place where the owner Hassen does everything to make you feel at home. The rooms are quite simple on the one side, but on the other hand everything you might need is... more

I have stayed in Tyvabro for 7 nights and I have really enjoyed myself. The guesthouse is close to the airport and to Blue Bay also 5 min walk to the central bus station, supermarket and restaurants. Rooms have all you need - WC, shower, safe, TV and small fridge. Every morning was nice breakfast with lots of fresh fruit.... more

I recommend the guest house "Tyvabro" for the following reasons: the host and owner is most helpful and friendly. The room where I stayed was clean witth everything I needed including a secured locker. Tea is avalaible at anytime. Breakfast is served with or without the family: as a female travelling alone it was great to be dining sometimes with... more

The guest house is close to the airport, a short and scenic bike ride away from Blue Bay and just a 5 minute walk to the central bus station. The guesthouse itself is run by Hassan who provides a... more

Tyvabro is a small family-run hostel in the heart of the coastal town of Mahebourg. We stayed there only for a stop-over on our way to Reunion, but it turned out to be the most welcoming place we stayed at during all our holiday. The rooms are good standard for a "backpacker hostel" and there is a roof-top terrasse with... more
