My assistant and I rented the north cottage on the property in May 2013. I came to see a doctor in Hudson valley area and wanted something with kitchen due to dietary restrictions. Hotel is pretty secluded. All buildings are spaced apart. I didn't see many guests. It was pretty private. North cottage is a 2 bedroom building with a... More

We came up, expecting a quaint little country place, based on the pictures we saw online. What a disappointment. The room was cold and uninviting, there were ants everywhere. We dined at "Henry's," and again...with so many wonderful choices in the Hudson Valley...this place will not be on our list again. The baked goods were among the driest and worst... More

Came with a group of ladies for a relaxing getaway. We stayed in the gindelle suite (okay) and river knoll downs which was an amazing accommodation overlooking the Hudson River. They provide you with everything, plates wine glasses, fire logs and starter matches, toiletries. We did free yoga at the spa in the morning abd the spa looked lovely. Unfortunately... More

I was coming for a girls weekend, expecting woodsy chic, with a touch of dustiness. Instead, the property was such a shocker! Immaculate, modern, gorgeous...amazing grounds, with animals in a sanctuary. Unbelievable breakfast, and the SPA was gorgeous! Stunning! Built in 2007- with all the creature comforts of a top-notch spa. Solarium facing the Hudson River. And, the restaurant, Henry's... More

Absolutely perfect and exquisite!! You have a nice pond with ducks and swans, the falls, the Hudson river, the animals and yards to walk around. They provide you leftover bread to feed the ducks, they really take care all the details. The welcome was with cream and fruit with a cup of tea, delicious!. The breakfast was more than expected,... Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to write this amazing review. It seems the ducks, swans and geese made an impact on you. You may be happy to hear we rescued more ducks yesterday from a local sanctuary. Animals that got abandoned after they were no longer cute chicks. Most of the animals on the... More

My wife and I were looking to do something in the country for the weekend with the kids... We wanted a property/place that wasn't a conventional hotel room, we wanted a property or something that offered bedrooms a living area, so after the kids went to bed we could sit drink wine, relax and watch TV. After doing extensive research,... More

Having travelled to many wonderful locations both home and abroad I felt the Inn needs some work to be competitive to really excellent Inns. The staff try's hard to please but misses the mark. The breakfast room was beautiful but the food was just OK . With the CIA so close one would think the breakfast would be fabulous .... More

My wife and I just returned from a one night stay and all I can say is WOW! The room (Winterberry) was very nice. The room had a gas fireplace that made for a romantic evening. The grounds were lovely, but we got no help with parking when we arrived, so we had to walk across the lovely grounds carrying our bags. Our room was huge and lovely, but the view consisted mostly of the tar-paper roof. The bed was huge with nice linens, but sagged in the middle. The bathtub was large and deep and the... More

This is a lovely spot for a weekend get-a-way. The Inn is set along the Hudson River. The property is a sprawling farm with multiple buildings. The Spa has it's own building and there is a terrific restaurant, Henry's, on site. We stayed in the main building. The rooms are very comfortable with fireplaces, and whirlpool tubs. The breakfasts were... More
