A group of friends and myself recently stayed for a long weekend at The Albatross and had a great time. We booked an off-season package that was listed on their website as $124/pp including 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners. At first we were a little skeptical thinking it might be a shady B&B, however the meals were provided by way of vouchers to a decent number of restaurants right along Montauk's main drag. It is quite possible that after having reviewed the menu of the restaurant vs. the menu given for using vouchers that the value of our meals in total exceeded the cost of staying at the hotel altogether. All of the restaurants were very accomodating and we were only one block from the beach so we barely needed our car. There are BBQ pits in the courtyard that other guests used in the time that we were there, as well as a pool that was too chilly to swim in, and a playground for the kidlets.
