Location, Location, Location. When you want the beach, this is what you want, and generally you will put up with a few inconveniences. The Surf club is an excellent family resort. The rooms are small, but stocked with everything you need for a great family vacation. The staff is kind and accomodating. The proximity to town, beach and pool, is second to none. I will always book my Montauk trip at the Surf Club. more

The oceanfront one bedroom duplex we stayed in was excellent. Both floors, living room and bedroom have magnificent ocean views. There are only a few feet of dunes between the outdoor deck and the actual beach.
