I had the pleasure of staying at The Mead-Tooker House on a resent visit to the Orange County N.Y. area. The accommodations were excellent. Very, very clean and comfortable room. Great breakfast by Ed, don’t miss it. You’re just a short walk to area shops and restaurants and a short drive to other area attractions. The proprietors Ed and Katie... more

A group of my girlfriends and myself stayed at the Mead-Tooker House for a relaxing "girls" weekend. Upon arrival, we found a very gracious host, Innkeeper Edward, who checked us in and recommended some destinations for dinner and shopping. The next day we booked massages with the In-House Licensed Massage Therapist, Catherine, which was incredible. Breakfast was hands down delicious... more

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Mead-Tooker house while staying in the Garden Room. The bed was very comfortable with an abundance of pillows and comfortable linens. The breakfasts were abundant and delicious, and we enjoyed sharing them with the other guests. Ed, the innkeeper, accomodated our every request immediately and was very helpful providing suggestions. He is... more

My fiance and I stayed at the Mead Tooker this past summer, we were in town for a wedding. Edward, the Innkeeper, is a pure delight not to mention a very knowledgable guy when it comes to the history of the inn and the village itself. Our room was gorgeous, so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Two thumbs up..we... more

I stayed at the Mead-Tooker, spring 2005. The Inn was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We didn't want to leave. The inn-keeper, Nancy, was very accomadating and looked to our every need. I hear now that as of June of 2005 the Mead-Tooker has new owners, that might be the problem in that last post. more

My wife and I frequently stay in B&Bs, and were looking forward to staying here based on their website photos, description and reviews. However, the Inn fell far short. Our room ($200/night) was cheaply furnished with mixed period pieces including white wicker furniture and high hat lighting. The parlor was uninviting and lacked any current reading material. Breakfast was adequate,... more

During the Thanksgiving Holiday I needed 3 rooms to accommodate out of town family members. I booked them into the historic Mead Tooker House B&B in the Village of Montgomery. Nancy Michaels, the owner, was very hospitable and gracious and treated my family as she would her own. This was their first stay at a b&b. She put them greatly... more
