Hotel is old. Has not been renovated since the 50's. The place smells from mold and mildew. Bugs and other strange creatures roam the place. We stayed in the better rooms which are overpriced. I can image what the average rooms are like. We got up early and ran out of the place. Do not waste your money. I have... more

If anyone remembers the character in Dickens' "Great Expectations" you will understand the connection. Kutsher's is a mere shadow of what it once was. Pink halls and rooms, the Starlight room holding perhaps 10% of its once glorious capacity (the comic was very funny). In the tiny bathroom, the ceiling had a large water stain, with signs of recent water... more

They are trying to sell hotel and dont care if you have running water, dirt, bedbugs or air in your room. The entire place is a ghost town. If you bring your family here, you deserve this treatment. NEEDS A VISIT FROM THE BOARD OF HEALTH! more

This place has to be the worst fleabag hotel I have ever seen and been to. I am outraged it is still in existence, honestly. We came to see our niece in a show at her camp Stagedoor Manor. It must be the climate in that area that breeds such filth. Stagedoor used to be the old Karmel hotel, and... more

There is no place left like Kutshers. This five star rating is given based on the overall experience, in no way am I saying the accomodations are lush (they aren't) or the building is in great condition (it isn't) or the amenities are top notch (they aren't) but if you want to go back in time and experience the old... more

I and my parents have gone to Kutsher's together about 3 times now, and have always had a pleasant experience. Mrs. K. is a very nice, courteous person and "Crazy" Tyrone is a great events coordinator/conductor. Tyrone also went above and beyond the call of duty a couple of times to call over some of his personal friends, who are... more

There is not one thing positive that i can say except find another location for your vacation. The staff is rude The food tasteless and quite expensive The rooms filthy...someone elses hair was all over... more

Having read some bad reviews, I called the hotel to qualify what I heard and I was told that everything was redone and beautiful. Therefore, I booked a higher-priced room, which I was assured was completely updated, and it was all LIES. Place is smelly, run-down, moldy, and not geared for a family with kids who need fun. After seeing... more

JUST CAME WITH A GROUP OF 19, A good time is what you make of it, The food was acceptable, not gourmet but good and plentiful. service was fine. Sure the rooms need updating, but there was no odor from past reviews. As this was before High season, the olace was empty. No big sho. The lounge was used in... more
