we were visiting in Pelham, NY and decided to try this location for the se4cond time. We hated it the first time 8 years ago and found it worse this time. It is a big city hotel and shows the wear and tear. It has its own peculiar odor. We had been at the Marriott's in Tarrytown at the beginning... more

Hotel was the extended-stay type with full kitchen; 10th floor has a full free breafast and free parking.Near the Metro North station (3 block walk); also on same land as Roc City, which is a newer Mall-type center with Applepys' restaurant with slowwww service; a "wing" restaurant which is a sports bar/restaurant which was better than applebees. more

The hotel is magnificent and I have never experienced such incredible service before. It was so lovely that it was hard to drag myself away from the hotel to go to visit places. In fact I didn't bother going out on weekends and stay at the hotel. It was so hot and busy there, we couldn't wait to get back... more

I recently stayed at the New Rochelle Residence Inn and couldn't believe the service I received. I have never met so many genuinely friendly people in my life. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping was great. I had a few questions about the area and things to do and the Front Desk and the brekfast staff was more than... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel, and blocked a number of rooms here for our bridal party and wedding guests for our wedding weekend. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience with this hotel, but there were definitely some pros and cons. First the pros: Location! It is only 7 minutes from our wedding venue & New Roc... more

My dad and I went to see a baseball game in Yankee Stadium. Being I'm from Maryland and have only been to NY twice in my life, I wasn't sure where to stay. I didn't want to get a dumpy hotel in the city but I didn't want to be too far from the stadium. The last deciding factor was... more

Great location just outside NYC. Easy to get to by car, and easy to get back into the city by train the next day. Train station is within walking distance. Breakfast was on a high floor with a nice view, and the food was fine...about what you'd expect. The room was noisy at night, though...the fridge made strange sounds, and... more

I booked in advance and had my confirmation (including confirmation number etc.) for this hotel only to arrive there at 11:30pm and be told by the front desk guy that they had no room for me and were sold out. They had received my confirmed reservation but made some excuse about my CC details which was false. Plainly unbelievable and... more

Stayed for 9 days as part of a trip to visit family locally, and for trips into NYC. OK, it's not 5-star, but it was definately good value for money, and I would definitely stay there again. The location is good: close to the rail station with regular trains into Grand Central. The suite I stayed in was very spacious,... more

We got a great room rate for a Sat nite stay (161 for 1 bedrm). Room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable and double sheeted, and breakfast was very good. They kept fruit, coffee, and tea avail in lobby all day, even offered flavored syrup for coffee. We asked for a quiet room, and was given one overlooking parking... more
