I would not reccomend this hotel or anybody to come to this island within the next 10 years as it is a building sight. Me and my partner was expecting the island to be still developing but not the this extend! Just to warn you that there is a huge fly problem on the island! We didnt enjoy any meals... more

The island of Sal is a lump of the Sarah desert dropped into the Atlantic ocean. If you want desert, desert and more desert then Sal is the place to come!! Yet it's in the middle of a building boom of hotels, apartments, holiday complexes... Which seems perverse on an island that relies almost entirely on desalination to provide its... more

This is a fab hotel. First impression was not brilliant as they are building all over the island at the moment. But once in the hotel it was very nice, immaculately clean if a little run down. The food was a mixture of local, international and Italian, Plentlyful and well cooked. We went on an all in package which was... more

We have just returned from a week at the Djadsal. Whilst we didn't think it worthy of the 4stars, it is not all bad. The rooms were clean (and cleaned everyday with fresh sheets and towels), the pool, though in need of a refurb, was clean and looked after. The pool bar was a perfect zone for chilling out after... more

bad food, bad entertainment, dirty throughout....noone to help as little english spoken.A few good bars and eateries in town.Nothing to do at night...there is only so much of the local culture one can take and that is not much. A hugely dissapointing island and a vastly terrible hotel.... very very very down market...hardly all inc...had to eat all meals out...a lot of... more

Me and my partner stayed at the Djadsal Hotel last november looking for a relaxed chilled holiday and that is exactley what we got with the beach. Sal is situated along a gorgeous, golden sand beach perfect!! This is where we spent most of our time. When we arrived at the hotel it was a little difficult at first as... more

I agree that the Djasal is not a 4 star hotel although i think we were alot luckier than some of the other guests with our room.We stayed in one of the bungalows right opposite the beach which had a lovely view, and didn;t have any of the complaints as the other guests such as broken showers, plugs, no water... more

It is clean , comfortable, I was well fed - Ok the food is different but you aint going to get an english breakfast! Entertainment was okay and the beach perfect.... more

I have just returned from an all inclusive 7 day break at the Djadsal in Santa Maria with my wife. The holiday club is ideally located for reaching the long sandy beaches and clear blue sea which are the main attraction for having a relaxed break at the Santa Maria resort. Unfortunately, the Djadsal does not meet my expectations of... more
