Stayed here for 3 nights in October. The hotel is close to the ferry port and somebody came to meet us and walked us back to the hotel for free. Our room was fairly small (compared to the other rooms we had experienced in Tanzania) but it was adequate and clean. The breakfast was very nice – a buffet so you could have as much fresh fruit, cereal, toast, juice, etc as much as you wanted, and it was served on the rooftop terrace. The restaurant didn’t seem to serve food in the evenings, although a menu appeared half way through our stay on a blackboard but we didn't see anybody eating. It was fine to sit in the restaurant/roof top area in the evening – there were also other areas throughout the building with chairs for sitting/relaxing outside of your room. There are a few other hotels close by which also have roof-top bars/restaurants and it is close to the waterfront and the evening food market.
Pillows were very hard!!!
