We stayed at Chumbe Island for three days after 2 weeks on safari and it was stunning! Since it is an eco-lodge I was expecting that there would be no electricity, cold showers and horrible food. We intended to stay 3 nights at Chumbe after 5 camps on the mainland - a very gruffy ranger introduced us to the site, no questions from our side answered,m either he didn't understand or wouldn't answer our queries.
