Reviews I read about this hotel mentioned the construction. The good news is that it should be finished about June. The bad news is that it is growing from a pleasant 20 rooms in 5 four room cottages - with 2 up and 2 down nicely sized rooms. It will soon be a 100 room Holiday Inn with swimming pool... more

I have just returned from Nungwi Village. The service was excellent, the staff frequently went beyond the call-of-duty in order to accommodate our requests. The resort is under new management since the previous complaints were aired. I thoroughly recommend the place. The building work was ongoing but out of sight and out of earshot. more

Would NOT recommend this place for the price at all. The room was below average, even though sea facing, and the customer service was horrible. The resort has a sulfer odor to it and the food was bad. Better to go to Matemwe if you'd like a nicer beach and a more relaxing atmosphere. more
