Castel Brando was easily the nicest hotel we stayed in during our three weeks in Corsica. The June rates were reasonable -- 115€ -- for a lovely room in a renovated palazzo, a delightful pool, gardens and terraces shaded by palm trees, and most important, a smiling, attentive staff. We ended our trip at Castel Brando, and hated to leave. more

This hotel is well worth a visit. Erbalunga itself is a great little place and only a short drive up the coast from Bastia. It's a very relaxed fishing village that is blessed with a number of good restaurants.
