We felt right at home in this historic hotel located in the heart of the Catskills. We arrived in the late afternoon and were greeted like old friends and shown to our lovely, quaint room. Dinner was wonderful. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. The cook even came out to greet us and ask how our meals were. I like... more

Beautiful, welcoming hotel located in the grand catskill mountain range. A short drive from NYC yet you feel like you have escaped it all. Nearby hiking and other outdoor adventures are just outside your door. Friendly, warm customer service. Short drive to the cute town of Woodstock with wonderful shopping and dining delights. Quaint and romantic lodging and restaurant, offering... more

This place was a grand disappointment. First of all, the person who greeted us was very aloof and cold. We asked questions about Bellayre and she gave curt answers and seemed to have no affect. There is a main house and a second building with rooms, in which we stayed. The walls were paper-thin, the door felt like a flimsy... more

Headed up to the Pine Hill Arms for a friend's birthday ski weekend. We expected a nice, charming, family run place with a rustic bar. Instead, we walked into a 100+ year old dilapidated, sideways tilting, college-dumpy-apartment-feel hotel (the type where every couch looks like grandma and Aunt Jennie donated it to you) and the carpets are thoroughly worn out.... more

I never even stayed at the Pinn Hill Arms Hotel. I tried 2 times to book and both times felt I was treated rudely. I understand that they are a small, family business but they are a business none the less and should treat potential customers nicely. I was told the first time ina very curt manner, "we're too busy,... more

We stayed at the Pine Hill Arms so that we could ski at Bellayre. The hotel is very close to the ski area, less than 5 min drive. The people were very friendly, Valerie at the desk, and all the staff, including the bartenders and all the staff in the restaurant. The bar is very cozy with a nice sitting... more

For $125 per night you too can stay at accommodations of less quality than most hostels! (and be determined to write your own review.) Here are our observations of our first and last stay at the Pine Hill Arms: -The Hot Tub was not functional. -Our room was at a separate property from the Main House. -This Neighboring house looked... more

I have to tell you this is the best place in the catskills that i have stayed. i have been going skiing up there since 1987 and it by far the best. It's warm, cozy and family fun. Bar is fun with live music good drinks. The food is great prime rib and the snapper my favorite. Also the best... more

My family has visiting the pine hill arms for over 20years. It is a hundred plus year old hotel that is in the heart of catskill mountain ski country. The owners Robert ( chef) and Valerie Konefal provide their guests with a warm and cozy place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The food in the restaurant... more

The place is a dump. It is dirty and has two giant dogs roaming inside the hotel. It is highly misrepresented on the website. We had to leave and this ruined our vacation. The owner refused to return the 100$ deposit even when we told her one of the children was allergic to dogs. Stay away from this place! more

Kolby and Jake are two friendly labs that are prominently and proudly shown on our web site. As for the place being a dump and dirty, Bell labs ski club and the West Point Academy were our guests for over 10 years which speaks volumes for our hospitality. We have also been recommended by Skiing magazine as one of the...
