Only drawback is no breakfast is provided. There is however an excellent German restaurant on the premises, but it's a little pricey for breakfast. Highly recommend it for dinner. Nice pool. No cancel/refund rate makes it affordable. more

Just off the Rt. 87/ Northway, but tucked away from road, so its quiet, no traffic. Rooms are basic, but always clean. GREAT staff. Not far from all the attractions in Lake George. more

We found the rooms to be very clean and updated. Beds have the new memory foam mattresses and were very comfortable. Bed linens were spotless as well as the room. Showers both in the AM and PM had plenty of hot water. Very quiet for being right next to the interstate. The desk clerk was friendly and efficient. Would recommend. more

Lake George is one of my family's favorite weekend getaways. We have our favorite hotels but due to a last minute decision to get away to Lake George we found that our favorite hotels were booked. In fact, almost ALL the hotels in the area with indoor pools were booked solid so we ended up at the Ramada. I was... more

Stayed here for Americade week, the yearly motorcycle rally in Lake George. Friends of ours had booked 3 nights and the next day we were told that there was a 4 night minimum and they wouldn't accept anything less. So, we relented and booked the 4 nights. The hotel is convienient to the highway, or to Rt. 9 into Lake... more

We stayed overnight by chance on a roadtrip. Arrived at 1:00am and at first was hesitant. Area was spooky at that time of night...Hallways smelled of cigarette smoke...However, was pleasantly surprised with the room 156. Room was very clean and a normal size with a separate table and chairs and a minifridge. Bathroom was standard size, but there was a... more

The location is good, the staff is very friendly but the hotel is dated. The room we had with two full size beds was on the small side. If I were a business traveler, I wouldn't have liked the tiny desk that doubled as a nightstand between the beds. The floor lamp made a buzzing sound when in use. The... more

Upon arriving at the hotel we were very excited. As soon as we walked in the doors we were greeted with a smile and a very polite hello. The check in process was excellent. When we arrived to our room we were pleasantly surprised. Of course we had to go to the pool, very large area. Good for big families... more

After seeing the mixed reviews, I was a bit reluctant to book this place despite the bargain I received through Hotwire on short notice. Upon checking in, I was advised by a confused staffer, that my name was not on the register for this day and that in fact, I was a day early. This was despite calling immediately after... more

What a strange place. There's a grandiose entrance driveway lined with trees and flags, but when you round the bend you discover the hotel looks like the back of a bowling alley and is right on 1-87. Our room (#115) smelled - no, stank - of some cherry-scented cleaner. It was so bad we had to air out our clothes... more
