We've been here a few times now because the first time was fantastic as rides great for our kids range of 6 to 12; the surf wave distinguishes this waterpark from the others in the area (like Great Wolf Lodge which we've also been to) as it keeps dad coming back too. What a great extened weekend. Fun for eveyone. Lots to do and extras withou the extra cost. Just outside of the Village of Lake George but definitely easy to access. Rooms - Large, new, clean. 2 comfy queen beds plus a small seating area and fridge. Food - We went to Johnny Rockets and was as expected, good 50's diner type food (burgers mostly). Great shakes. We were there from 8/31-9/3/09 on a great special. The lodge was very clean and not very crowded. My 5 yr old and 4 yr old enjoyed the indoor waterpark and the Great Escape Amusement Park right across the street. Kids want to go back again real soon. more

Our family had a 4 day/3night stay. Upon check-in it was noted how the stairs, lobby and hallways did not look like they had been vacuumed. I assumed it was because it was later in the day. The best part of the hotel is the indoor waterpark, by far. The waterpark was clean and very well staffed with lots of lifeguards. It has three large waterslides and two smaller ones.
