Being our first time at a B&B we didn't quite know what to expect and were very pleased with our experience. Kate and Archie were very accommodating, as we had to arrive at a very late hour. They even had the AC running for us before we got in. We stayed in the small room but it was perfect with a private bath. The decor was charming, with alot of attention to detail, down to the breakfast presentation and a personally hand written note upon our departure. The decor was Victorian/country with hand made soaps and scents and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We pre-arranged the time for breakfast, they were very prompt and it was delicious! We had a very nice time talking with Kate as she filled us in on many of the town stories. The location is terrific as it is within walking distance to the shops, restaurants and bars.
