For these prices you would expect luxury. Instead you get a run down cabin and staff with an attitude. Not sure why anyone would stay here more than twice. Avoid it. more
We stayed here for a wedding and was disappointed that our $250 room was musty and a bit run-down. I can appreciate rustic, but this felt unclean. Then one night, we got together in a friend's room. I admit it was late, and we were playing some music. Management calls and is rude right away. She never asks us nicely... more
The Dering Harbor Inn on Shelter Island is a wonderful place to spend a few days or weeks in the summer. We had a nice stay at the Dering Inn. Its located very close to the Shelter Island ferry (North), the room was rather large with separate bedroom and living room.
