The Nearshore Bed and Breakfast is a friendly family-run bed and breakfast offering spacious private accommodation for 2 (+2) people in the Nearshore Studio. It is conveniently located near the end of the Sunrise Highway (Rt 27A/CR39) by the Lobster Inn. Walk to Peconic Bay Beach or take a short drive to the Atlantic Ocean beaches, Southampton Village and Hampton Bays. Enjoy all the Hampton’s has to offer.
I see that this Lodging accommodation has used another lodging photo to show their property, this is completely illegal. Please try to find another accommodation which is honest about their property instead of using The Mainstay Bed and Breakfast home page photos and not The Nearshore s own photos.

We have stayed here for three summers in a row. We love the location. The Lobster Inn is walking distance away. The pool is very nice, and having it all to ourselves is great. We usually eat the breakfast by the pool. My girlfriend loves the breakfast. The apartment has maps to the beaches and areas that are very helpful. The apartment is always clean and its very comfortable. The only negative would be that you can hear footsteps above you. Other than that, everything is great and I would recommend this place to a friend.

The Nearshore feels more like an appartment than a B&B. You have plenty of space, a small basic kitchen, your own terrace, free Wi-Fi, and there are plenty of books and magazines to chose from. Breakfast is plenty and fresh. The appartment looks pretty much like it is featured on the website and has a modern, seaside look to it. The friendly owners of the house live upstairs with their two kids and offer plenty of privacy. A quiet pool is available in the backyard. Overall highly recommended for those seeking privacy, space, a modern interior and like to stay close to Southampton, where there is still a free access beach (Road D). Only downsides might be the constant noise from the highway (which you only hear outside) and the fact that, being on the ground floor, the appartment feels a bit dusty and humid when it is getting hot.…

The Nearshore's tastefully appointed modern style set it apart from other B&Bs as we were searching for a place to stay in the Hamptons. The independence allowed to us by our gracious hosts while we were there--use of the pool, directions to get wherever we wanted, and a well-stocked studio (local info, magazines, wifi, books, movies, teas and coffees, toiletries) let us feel like we really lived there! The studio felt private and yet also allowed us a wide range of places to spend our time-- outdoor deck and Adirondack chairs facing the lawn, large table we used as an office, sofa and comfortable bed and soft linens set up near the tv, cable and ipod dock-- designs that made the most of the space and allowed the feeling of many different rooms. The generous, fresh and delicious breakfast basket of croissants, scones, fresh fruits, yogurt, mixed nuts, fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh coffee allowed us to wake up whenever we liked and left us full well into the afternoon. The road is somewhat difficult to find for first-time visitors, but anyone nearby knows how to give directions to the famous and walking-distance Lobster Inn. We were pleased and would definitely recommend The Nearshore and go again.…
