First the positives - the pool is nice if small and the breakfast is good. The beds are also very comfy. Now the negatives- Rooms are very basic and sound insulation from floors above and corridors and non-existent - we thought the ceiling was going to cave in every time another guest closed their bedroom door. Providing a bottle of... more

Great location and spotless bathrooms but it stopped there. Small rooms with outdated A/C that didn't and couldn't work correctly no matter what we tried. Not handicap friendly. No poolside service for food/drink. After paying almost $500.00 a night they still charge you $10.00 to use the internet, $10.00 for a bottle of water in your room. Overall impression is... more

Stayed at the Southampton Inn recently as part of a group of 20 golfers. The Inn was certainly functional and fit very well with our requirements, being well located in relation to the courses we were playing. However, it needs to be said that the same hotel in a different location would command a room rate of under $100. Amenities... more

I usually stay in Sag Harbor but for business a few times a year we stay here for company trips. The people that wrote bad reviews were not wrong at all, but I do like this hotel, and think it is very attractive and the rooms are great. The problem I have with it is for the money they charge,... more

We had a lovely visit to the Southampton Inn last week. Spring had almost arrived and the Inn was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed reading by the fireplace in the Inn's library and strolls "downtown" along Jobs Lane (heard about that for years) and Main Street. We visited Coopers Beach -- beautiful and no one was there except a few... more

We have stayed at the Southampton Inn every year on MLK weekend for the past 3 years. We go for our anniversary. The Inn is perfectly located, easy walking distance to restaurants and movies. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. The rooms aren't the most up to date, but they are always clean. They have tempurpedic beds... more

We were looking for a quick getaway for my birthday in the vicinity of LI's vineyards. The hotel needed to be child friendly as we have a 5 yearold and many of the area's B&B's do not accept children. The website looked awesome. This looked like a beautiful B&B in the heart of Southampton. We fell for it...hook, line and... more

So many bad things were written so determined and pretentious and passionately that we had to give the hotel a chance. In fact, the hotel is not one of the estates, okay?, but it is well located in an exquisite village and it's for only a night or two, not for a lifetime. Great staff, the room isn't any better... more

We wanted a nice getaway near the beach where we could stay with our dog, and this really fit the bill. The room and bathroom were clean (and I am a clean FREAK), the bed comfy, and it was quiet. We loved the location because we like to leave the car upon arrival and just walk whenever possible. I liked... more

This motel provides exceptional location. It is 1/2 a block to the main drag of Southampton. The establishment is also incredibly hospitable to dogs of any size, provided your dog is well behaved and not a rampant barker. The rooms are decorated in light colors of the Ikea sort, but the mattresses are fabulous - tempurpedic. The rooms do show... more
