All that was missing were pitchforks and torches. All the folks in the lobby were mad, One couple asked for a refund and were told that they had to keep the credit card on file to cover any damages to the room they had only looked at. Another complained of no towels or pillows in the room. Clerk was indifferent... more

This hotel is a total dump from the 1970's. It was never updated in any way, with yellow tiled, mildewy bathrooms and dated dark brown carpets! The air conditioning reeked of smoke even in non-smoking rooms. Go to a newer hotel! We've stayed at far better 2 star hotels, this should be rated 1 star. more

Front desk Clerk was polite , efficient and pleasant. Booked this as a Hotwire 2.5 star and since it was paid for we stayed ..but never again to a United Inn and never again with Hotwire ..we will know where we are going before paying. Wish I could have seen the previous reviews of this place before being committed. Aside... more

I arrived with a wedding group. I have read the previous reviews and was a bit upset. Yes, this is an older hotel, yes, it needs to be updated...but when our group arrived we were warmly greeted by Abby at the front desk. The air conditioning was a little tempermental, but the staff did everything in their power to make... more

Okay, my fault for going with the 2.5 star rating that hotwire provided. I should have selected the 3 star. Live and learn. This place was poor all round, and in need of a serious makeover. Problems we encountered: old carpets, bathroom fixtures from the 60's, cig. smells coming from rooms next door and the corridors, bedding that had holes... more

The only good thing I can say is that the room was clean and neat. The bathroom, though very outdated was "restored" and very clean. Outside the room was a different story. The exterior looks awful. The hallways had no air conditioning. Kind of eerie atmosphere. Restaurant wasn't open for our Saturday night stay which we found sort of odd.... more

This is not a good hotel... rude front desk clerks, no Heat or A/C, loud construction noises, filthy small bathrooms, which is probably the reason why no websites that promote the Inn show pictures of them. I could go on. more

When I booked this it said it was Quality Inn but we arrived to find it is now the United Inn. I can see why Quality Inn didn't want to be associated with it - the place is pretty much a dump. Slowest check-in ever. No heat in our room, mystery stains on the mattress, the halls reeked of some... more

It was ok to stay here. We took the exit 25 from I91 as we knew of Quality Inn and had stayed there earlier. Now its with a new name and is called UNITED INN. We stayed on the third floor. The rooms are smaller than most of the rooms we have stayed in. The last time we had stayed... more

All hotels in area were booked due to Syracuse University graduation...this facility had vacancy and no wonder why...travelers should avoid at all costs! Filthy inside and out. It took us three rooms until it was a bearable room to attempt to sleep in. First room key got us into a room that wasn't even ready and the second room had... more
