The only good thing I can say is that the room was clean and neat. The bathroom, though very outdated was "restored" and very clean. Outside the room was a different story. The exterior looks awful. This is not a good hotel... rude front desk clerks, no Heat or A/C, loud construction noises, filthy small bathrooms, which is probably the reason why no websites that promote the Inn show pictures of them. I could go on. more

When I booked this it said it was Quality Inn but we arrived to find it is now the United Inn. I can see why Quality Inn didn't want to be associated with it - the place is pretty much a dump. All hotels in area were booked due to Syracuse University graduation...this facility had vacancy and no wonder why...travelers should avoid at all costs! Filthy inside and out. We arrived late and front desk clerk was very friendly and cooperative. Hotel has park and fly facility with shuttle to and fro from syracuse airport. Rooms were clean and well stock. Rooms were furnished with microwave and refrigerator, coffee makers which were not in the rooms during our previous stay. We would use this hotel in the future. more

Brochure indicated newly renovated! Our had a yellow tub/sink, dirt on floor, hair elastics on floor, dirty carpet, etc. We got $$ back when we checked out (we arrived at 8pm and all other rooms were booked so we couldn't move). Ended up paying $40 (after half back in refund)...that is still too much for this place! Not hot water... more

I travel for work and stay in a lot of hotels - cleanliness is important. I checked in to this hotel, rode the ancient, scary elevator to the third floor...walked into my room and turned around and left. The staff was very nice - no complaints about the customer service. The hotel is just very outdated and dirty. more

This place has seen better days If It wasn’t a free night for me (Rewards night.) I would have never stayed. And that might have something to do about it too. We were put in the back next to the interstate and only one neighbor that looked like homeless people . When there were plenty of other rooms up close... more
